Bobby Evans Scouting Report

STRENGTHS: Bobby Evans is a smooth, refined athlete…has plus length that should enable him to battle would be defenders at the next level…Evans has the agility to make the initial block, and then spring down field to pick up another at the second level…versatile enough to play multiple positions along the offensive line…great deal of power that packs a punch…

WEAKNESSES: Bobby Evans has shown that he can be beaten regularly via counter moves…his evaluation is marred with inconsistency in both the pass blocking and run blocking departments…overextends himself at times and could develop into a penalty-committing problem at the NFL level…needs to work on leverage and developing a more consistent base…

COMP: Ronnie Stanley

OVERALL: Bobby Evans is one of the rare offensive tackle prospects in this draft class that could project to either offensive tackle positions at the NFL level…Evans has all the tools—including the required length to project on the outside…that being said, he is far from a finished product and needs much more development in order to fulfill his potential…I like Bobby Evans as a solid 2nd round prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft.
