Michael Deiter Scouting Report

STRENGTHS: Michael Deiter is an experienced and versatile offensive lineman…Deiter has played offensive tackle, guard, and center throughout his time at Wisconsin…good mobility…can advance to the next level and pick up a secondary block…what you’ll notice is Michael Dieter possesses fantastic agility and his ‘pulling’ game is sublime…hard worker…high football IQ

WEAKNESSES: Michael Deiter has a lack of length that limits his options at the NFL level…given his physical limitations and the fact that he struggled at times on the offensive tackle position—he’s best suited inside at offensive guard…has issues with speed rushers…at times he can become a bit unbalanced in his sets…

COMP: Marshal Yanda

OVERALL: Michael Deiter is yet another one of our prospects who were developed at Offensive Lineman University—Wisconsin. You know what you are getting in Michael Deiter, he is a plug and play offensive guard who can be a benefit to your team in the run game and pass blocking. He may not have the ceiling of some of his contemporaries, but he has a very high floor. I would expect to hear Michael Deiter’s name called during the 2nd round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
